Future proof

Check these dancers as they create and interact with abstract forms. Their own movements determine the creation and final destruction of these elements. Created by Australian based agency The DCMI. Love it.

#WeAreTheDestroyers part2

Here it is. This is what the fuzz was all about. In an earlier post I discussed the Twitter-campaign of Nike #WeAreTheDestroyers. Some more hints have been leaking in via twitter over the days.

We know now that last sunday a party was held  in Nike’s pop up store located underneath a railway arch in London’s Shoreditch all to help celebrate the launch of Nike Sportswear’s Destroyer jacket. Continue reading ‘#WeAreTheDestroyers part2′

What could you come across if you had all the time in the world to go trough millions of miles of street views on Google Maps? Continue reading ‘Amazing Google street view images’

#WeAreTheDestroyers Destroy To Create

If you follow @nikesportswear on Twitter you might have noticed, they’re teasing us with a # (hash-tag) campaign: #WeAreTheDestroyers. They’re giving away bits and peaces of video and twitpics, but we still don’t know what it’ll lead to.

I have PSD

Inspirationspam | IhavePSD3

Here’s something a brand, Adobe in this case, could dream about; a group of users (or should I say fans) creating a nice short film about one of your products. And also get loads of online free publicity while your at it.
“I have PSD” was created by people whose worlds would not be the same had they not acquired PSD. In fact, you wouldn’t be reading this or watching their short film if it weren’t for PSD. The film was made by the New York based agency Hyperact.

Clever narration

The project WORDS is a collaboration of Everynon and NPRWNYC’s Radiolab. Clever how the story is narrated by visualized words that evolve from one into the next. It graps hold of you and keeps you watching. Very inspiring.

Inspirationsnack # 35

Beautiful stopmotion animation. 60.000 pictures were taken, 9.600 were developed and printed and 1.800 pictures were shot over again. Respect for the work that went in to the project.

Documenting Rock trough the decades

What makes me stick and hang around on a website for a while? Either there’s a lot of interaction with others, or I get the depth info I’ve been looking for (or stumbled upon) or I’m blown of my socks by the impressive creativity and beauty of the content or the website itself. Well, this one is in the last category. You really should check out this new website that group 94 designed for photographer Denis O’Regan. The site is a documentation of decades of his rock photography. I’m a fan of both the photographer and the designer. Make sure you don’t have anything else to do the next half hour when you visit the site ;-)
