During a 3-day-build-up to the UEFA Champions League finals 2011 in London, sponsor Heineken dominated the city’s advertising space.
I was asked by Heineken to translate the global ‘open your world’ print campaign into dynamic animations that would enrich and maximize the campaigns impact .
These short videoclips where shown on single- and multiple screens in underground- and train stations all over London. With that taking the full advantage of the digital outdoor media possibilities in the city.

Man…. it seems ages ago since my last post. OK, without the exaggeration… two months. Well, a lot has happened and here’s the great news: I just started my own business!!!!!!
So, finally, after years of hesitation and indecisiveness the decision is there and I can call myself Owner, CEO, CFO, General Manager, Global Group Creative Director, Head of Sales Devision, Receptionist and Head of Catering of Make It Heppener! (or as Marc Zugerberg of Facebook was going to put on his business card: I’m CEO Bitch)
Wondering what I’m doing? Check my website www.benheppener.nl. This will soon carry my business name Make It Heppener.
It’s been extremely busy (and that’s good news for a start up) so inspirationspam suffered from that. But enough talk about me, let’s get back to the blogging.
THIS HAS GOT TO BE the coolest web/music project @ the moment!!!! The website of Pete Philly, promoting his new solo album/project Open Loops. Since October last year new ‘loops’ have been added weekly until the completion of the ‘album’, and now it’s there. And it’s free for you to download.
And amazing it is this 3D animated gif from Emilio. Thanx to Raymond Burger I came across triangulation blog with some amazing work!
Emilio about his animation: “Extremity is one of my latest works, is based in tridimensional collages. I used 3D models (bodies) which I found in internet. I cut and organized the extremities to make these loop animations.”

Here’s something a brand, Adobe in this case, could dream about; a group of users (or should I say fans) creating a nice short film about one of your products. And also get loads of online free publicity while your at it.
“I have PSD” was created by people whose worlds would not be the same had they not acquired PSD. In fact, you wouldn’t be reading this or watching their short film if it weren’t for PSD. The film was made by the New York based agency Hyperact.

Because people are a social specie, the online social media is the internet catch-up on real life. But wouldn’t be fun if the online info would be a sort of an augmented reality layer over real life? And wouldn’t it be cool if smartphone and multitouch behavior could be integrated in real life? See how that works out in the music video of French rap duo Toxic Avenger.
