Last week the Fifa announced the 2 country’s that will host the World Cup football in 2018 and 2022. Surrounded with controversy Russia and Quatar came out as winners. I’m sure the promise of Russia of an enormous profit for the Fifa helped the decision for 2018.
We, as the Netherlands also entered the bidding but didn’t make it. I guess we’re not as willing as the winners to let the Fifa take over the country and change the laws for 4 weeks and we weren’t as good for the Fifa wallet.

For some odd reason my blog is most found by Google on the search term ‘New York’. Although I haven’t written that mutch about New York. 1,5 Year ago I shared with my readers that I was of to New York for a couple of weeks. After that I’ve written about the ugliest building in Manhattan the Verizon building, that the Virgin store had left Times Square and about Jay-Z’s book Decode.
(The nr. 2 search term was Michael Jackson, nr.3 MacCafé, nr.4 CocaCola and nr.5 #wearethedestroyers)
So I figured I have to reward the people searching for New York who end up on inspirationspam.com, with some awesome (never seen before) New York footage.
And I’m sure I will show up even more in a New York search now, since I’ve used New York 15 times in this post, as tags and in the SEO (in the background) ;-)

Decode on Times Square, New York…
Jay-Z has launched his autobiography and as you could expect from a somewhat megalomanic hip hop entrepreneur it went BIG. An extraordinary and never seen before launching campaign turning the marketing for a book in to an interactive event and even a hunt for pages of the book, placed in situations and place where they fit the content.
This is a new supermarkets concept: The People’s Supermarket; owned by the people, for the people. You can become a member, by being a member you dedicate a few hours per month as a volunteer, so the shop is ran by volunteers, that way it cuts on staff cost. Its a real cooperative and by being a member you have a say in how the shop is ran. Judge for yourself and check their mission video. Continue reading ‘The People’s Supermarket’
